- Overview Content Compass (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides tools to index website content, power assistants, and draft communications. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
- Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be able to form a binding contract.
- You are responsible for the security of your account, including device and password hygiene.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Subscriptions, Billing, and Trials
- Plans are billed monthly unless otherwise stated. Annual pricing is prepay and discounted.
- Plan limits (e.g., interactions, indexed URLs) are measured monthly.
- Overage: If you exceed your monthly interactions limit, you agree to pay $10 per additional 1,000 interactions (billed in blocks). We apply a soft cap and continue service.
- Prices and features may change; we’ll make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
- Taxes (if applicable) are additional.
- Acceptable Use You agree not to:
- Violate laws or rights of others, or misuse data you do not own or have permission to use.
- Attempt to probe, breach, or disrupt our systems.
- Use the Service to generate or distribute harmful, illegal, deceptive, or spam content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
- Your Content and Privacy
- You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process it to provide the Service.
- We apply technical and organizational measures to protect customer data. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload or index.
- Integrations (e.g., Gmail OAuth)
- If you connect third-party services (such as Gmail), you authorize us to send emails on your behalf and access data strictly within the scopes you consent to.
- For Gmail send-only: we request the gmail.send scope. Tokens are stored securely and can be revoked by you at any time.
- Your use of third-party services is also subject to those providers’ terms and policies.
- Service Availability and Changes
- We aim for reliable, performant service, but outages may occur. We may modify or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice where practical.
- Beta or early access features may change, be limited, or be withdrawn without notice.
- Termination
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- We may suspend or terminate if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or for security/risk reasons.
- Disclaimers
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing before relying on them.
- Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Changes to These Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.
- Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
